Nergeco cold storage high performance doors are uniquely designed to resist extreme cold and maintain environmental control. When closed, the flexible curtain fits securely in the customized sides of the structure creating a barrier between building sectors. During opening-closing cycles the flexible curtain gently slides upward “just in time” and then immediately slides down with the same speed but with less noise and wear due to the custom fit. Safety is ensured by the soft bottom edge that is flexible horizontally and vertically because it does not have a lower ballast bar.
Up to three layers with integrated air mattress plus integrated side sealing provides incredible resistance against extreme cold.

Frames and mechanisms of Nergeco 5 Series cold storage and R Series interior doors are made from new multi-composite materials. Developed to perform in the most rigorous applications, they offer a formulation and design specific to each function which has significantly increased its resistance to tearing, twisting and denting relative to weld-fabricated solutions.
They are smooth and wear- resistant without the paint or crevices inherent in weld- fabricated structures and more corrosion-resistant than 316L stainless steel. Lastly, the structure adjusts to perfectly guide the vertical sides of the Intelligent Curtain without wearing.
Adapted for chilled and freezer areas and perfectly suited for cold storage areas. Features include de-icing system, deep freeze grade lubrication, up to triple insulation, thermally stable multi-composite, and peripheral sealing with smooth just-in-time opening/closing.
Frames and curtain technology is designed for exceptional durability and reliability. In addition, the Nergeco direct drive motor has only 5 moving parts: motor, gearbox, limit switch, rolling shaft for the straps and bearings, which reduces maintenance costs.
All curtains are made of food grade material. In addition, the Intelligent Curtain opens and closes automatically to minimize temperature loss and features a free, flexible and reactive soft bottom edge that can be compressed both vertically and horizontally.
